 Hamilton scratched from lineup

Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton, the leader in the majors in batting average, was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Angels because of patella tendinitis in his right knee. David Murphy started for Hamilton in left field, although Hamilton was available to pinch-hit.
Coming into Saturday, Hamilton was hitting .362 with 23 homers and 75 RBI.
