2010-07-31 15:48:00

Bethlehem, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Eagles have signed veteran wide receiver Kelley Washington to a one-year contract. Washington caught 34 passes for 431 yards, both career-highs, and a pair of touchdowns last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

The 6-foot-3, 217 pound Washington played in 24 games with New England during the previous two seasons, but caught only one pass for three yards.

He spent the first four years of his career with Cincinnati, which drafted him in the third round in 2003. During his seven years in the league, he has made 107 grabs for 1,327 yards and 11 scores.

The Eagles also released wide receiver Jared Perry.
